Celebrating International Women’s Day – March 8, 2022
Today we celebrate all women – moms, daughters, sisters, cousins, bosses, friends, pioneers, inventors, creators, care givers, servers, environmentalists, explorers, visionaries, leaders. We all fill these roles at some point in our lives even if that role isn’t our chosen career. And we celebrate US, all of us. I’m so grateful to be surrounded by strong, determined, loving women. My prayer is that all women have at least one cheerleader on their team.
Be the changemaker in your environment. We can all work together to #BreakTheBias and work towards equality, breaking discrimination, and stereotyping. Every person has a responsibility to take care of their world. Be kind to one another, hold one another up, and be kind to yourself.
Take small steps to care for yourself, prioritize your health (mental and physical), laugh … a lot! And love your life. Nurture your dreams and encourage the women in your life, old, young, and in between, to go after their dreams. God is very clear on vision – “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Proverbs 29:18a KJV.
Be kind today. Love today. The actions taken today will determine the outcomes of tomorrow. Small changes lead to movements and big changes “out there”. Remember, a collection of rain drops can become a flood!
You go Girl!
