Welcome to my Voyage through Life.
I hope to inspire those who have experienced grief through the loss of a spouse drawing from my faith walk and firm belief that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
My husband passed away in March 2018 from stage 4 colon cancer. The disease was diagnosed in January 2018 and by then it was too late. The disease had taken over and there was nothing the doctors could do. My son and I walked the traumatic six-week journey with him. We didn’t see it coming. We didn’t expect to have our lives explode into a million shattered pieces. I expected to grow old with the love of my life by my side. I expected him to be there when our son gets married and has children of his own.
I am now slowly piecing my life back together. It will never be the same. I hope to be better, stronger and braver, and if I can inspire one person through my journey, it will be amazing.
